DittoMart Go

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

DittoMart Go is a delivery-logistics platform that connects merchants with delivery partners. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the merchants, delivery partners, and customers who use our web console, apps, and order-tracking links.

Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email address, and phone number of merchant and staff accounts, including the Google account details you share when you choose “Sign in with Google” (your name, email address, and profile picture).
  • Order information — pickup and delivery addresses, contact names and phone numbers for each order, parcel details, and payment type.
  • Location information — pickup and drop coordinates for an order, and the delivery partner’s live location while a delivery is in progress, so the order can be tracked on a map.
  • Usage and device information — basic logs needed to operate the service securely and to diagnose problems.

How we use information

  • To create and manage accounts and to sign you in.
  • To place, price, dispatch, and track deliveries.
  • To show live order and delivery-partner tracking to the people involved in an order.
  • To operate wallets, billing, and settlements, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To send transactional notifications about orders, and to provide support.

How we share information

We share only what is needed to complete a delivery. For a given order this may include sharing the pickup and drop details with the delivery partner (for example a third-party logistics provider) assigned to carry it. We use trusted service providers for hosting, maps and geocoding, payments, and notifications, and share information with them only to provide those services. We may disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Google sign-in

When you sign in with Google we receive your basic Google profile (name, email address, and profile picture) to create and secure your account. We use this only to identify you and sign you in. We request the minimum access needed and do not use Google user data for advertising. You can revoke DittoMart Go’s access at any time from your Google account’s security settings.

DittoMart Go for Shopify

When a merchant installs the DittoMart Go app on their Shopify store, the app reads the store’s orders so it can turn them into deliveries. For each order it uses the customer’s name, phone number, and shipping address, the items and order value, and the payment status (to know whether cash must be collected). This is sent to DittoMart Go to create, price, dispatch, and track that delivery, and is shared with the assigned delivery partner as described above. The app writes back to the Shopify order only what the merchant needs: fulfilment status, the tracking link, and the delivery partner’s name.

The app itself keeps only what it needs to link a Shopify order to its delivery (the Shopify order number and the tracking link) and the store’s connection settings (access credentials, pickup address, and the merchant’s DittoMart Go account key). All of it travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and is stored on our servers with access restricted to our systems. We do not use Shopify store or customer data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Uninstalling: when a merchant uninstalls the app, its access to the store ends immediately and the stored access credentials are deleted. The remaining store data held by the app is deleted when Shopify sends its store-deletion request, about 48 hours later. Customer requests: we act on Shopify’s customer data and customer deletion requests, deleting the order links the app holds for that customer. Delivery records that we must keep for legal, tax, or dispute purposes are retained only as long as required and then deleted. A merchant or customer can also contact us directly at the address below.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order and settlement records are retained for the periods required by applicable law.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.

Your choices and rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational limits, by contacting us. You can also revoke Google sign-in access from your Google account at any time.

Children

DittoMart Go is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated through the service.
